The ISO CONTAINER full opening drum with a capacity of 217 lt. also called TAPERED, it is the last one that has been approved according to the UNI EN 209 standard, it is built using DC 01 steel in accordance with the UN 10130 – 10131 standards.

The shell is longitudinally assembled by electric fusion welding of the overlapping edges and is equipped with ISO CONTAINER expansions which reduce the diameter dimensions to those of a partially opening drum.

The lower bottom is assembled to the shell by triple crimping, with sealing mastic interposition, while the upper bottom or lid is removable and hermetically closed with the aid of a 3 bar hydraulic press, with galvanized lever closure. The drum has two openings G2 “and G 3/4” closed with metal caps.

The external painting takes place with the application of water-soluble enamel and subsequent drying in the oven. This type of keg has been approved for the solid version, with or without openings.
